Hi everyone and welcome back to the newly revamped Bunny Beautiful!
Today I’m going to tell you about one of the Penneys (Primark) scents; Meadow Flower. I picked it up when I was desperate to find something extra to give my mother with her birthday gift and it smelled like something she would really like. Then I liked it so much I went back and got one for myself!
According to the packaging it is “a fruity-floral fragrance that is fresh and feminine, bursting with top notes of blackberry, grapefruit and pear. The heart notes are introduced with a bouquet of jasmine and lychee combined with white woods, musk and coconut water.”
Personally I don’t get a very fruity scent from it but then again when I read fruity I think citrus. It does have a very floral yet autumnal musk scent to it that is just beautiful. It does also smell very fresh and feminine but not girly or childlike; it’s a sophisticated scent.
And scientifically speaking, most perfumes smell differently on redheads than others because of the different acidity of our skin (don’t worry, it won’t burn your skin to touch us!) but since I own this and my mother does too I can safely say it smells divine either way.
I have been wearing it every day since the day I bought it, even if I spend the day at home in my pyjamas; it’s a great pick-me-up scent that is very long-wearing. Usually I would spray it on the inside of my wrists, on my neck and on my scarf or the neck of whatever I am wearing and I have gotten so many compliments on it.
Looking at the ingredients list, to the best of my knowledge, it is also vegan! If you recognise anything in this list that is more commonly gotten from an animal source rather than a vegetable or synthetic source, please leave it in the comments below and I’ll update this post.
As a Penneys (Primark) product it is also cruelty-free and cheap as chips at just €3.50 for 50ml it is definitely something I will be repurchasing.
